AMC Delancey Groups Kenneth P. Balin named Vice-Chairman of the Philadelphia Urban Land Institute

PHILADELPHIA, PA, JUNE 28, 2004— Kenneth P. Balin, president and chief executive officer of AMC Delancey Group, Inc., a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania-based national real estate investment company, has been elected vice chairman of the Philadelphia District Council - Urban Land Institute (ULI), commencing July 1, 2004. Mr. Balin has been an active member of ULI serving on its executive committee and as committee chair. As a result of this election, Mr. Balin will automatically become chairman in fiscal year 2005.

Kenneth P. Balin is a 27-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry. He founded AMC Delancey Group, Inc. in 1992 and has since directed the development and implementation of the firm’s operational and investment strategies. Prior to founding AMC Delancey, Mr. Balin was president and co-founder of Amerimar Realty Company in 1987 and was a real estate partner and senior executive with affiliates of Bass Brothers Enterprises and the Robert M. Bass Group of Fort Worth, Texas. In addition, Ken is a member of the Central Philadelphia Development Corporation, Lambda Alpha, the International Council of Shopping Centers and the World Presidents’ Organization. He is a founding member of the Zell-Lurie Real Estate Center of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Ken Balin has served on the boards of many philanthropic and community organizations. He is a licensed real estate broker and a frequent guest lecturer and speaker in the real estate investment industry.

Mr. Balin holds a Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern University and a Masters in Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

ULI-the Urban Land Institute is a nonprofit education and research institute that is supported and directed by its members.
