GETTYSBURG, PA, JANUARY 31, 2005—Gettysburg Village Factory Stores has announced final plans to add dozens of new stores to the shopping center, as well as Gettysburg Village Theaters, a state-of-the-art, nine-screen movie theater, and a TGI Fridays restaurant. This multi-faceted 200,000-square-foot expansion is intended to draw additional high-profile, national retailers to the area. The Phase II expansion is expected to commence in the second quarter of 2005, and the movie theater is anticipated to open in the fall of 2005.

“We are excited to announce this dramatic expansion of Gettysburg Village Factory Stores,” said Nancy Brown, General Manager of the Gettysburg Village Factory Stores. “This expansion will offer our visitors some of the most sought-after retailers in the country, and bring a whole new caliber of shopping experience to the local community. The theater and Fridays restaurant solidify the Village as the “Center” of Gettysburg.”

“As an AMC Delancey Group-owned property, our goal is to consistently reinvest in the Gettysburg Village Factory Stores to continually make it even more desirable for the surrounding community,” said Andrew Kleeman, Vice President and Asset Manager for AMC Delancey Group, Inc. “We’re confident this 200,000-square-foot expansion brings more excitement, more entertainment and more jobs to the Gettysburg area.”

JK Roller Associates has been named architect on this multifaceted project, and financing is being provided by AMC Delancey Group, Inc. Gettysburg Village Theatres is an affiliate of Cinema Centers.

“Gettysburg Village Factory Stores is the best place for a theater in town, based on its already tremendous success as a retail destination, offering the foot traffic, demographics and parking necessary to service the local community,” said Van Troutman, Executive Vice President of Cinema Centers. “This is great news for Gettysburg that a world class theater is coming to town in the perfect location.”

Gettysburg Village Factory Stores, an appealing center combining the charm of traditional Main Street America with seasonal entertainment for a complete family-friendly shopping destination, is located at Route 15 and Baltimore Street (Route 97) in historic Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Owned by AMC Delancey Group, The Village’s 70 stores and Food Court offer values found nowhere else in the region and draw shoppers from throughout Pennsylvania and Maryland.
