GETTYSBURG, PA, APRIL 18, 2005÷Gettysburg Village Factory Stores has announced that its multimillion-dollar, 200,000-suare-foot expansion, which will add dozens of new stores, a nine-screen movie theater and T.G.I. Fridayâs restaurant, is well underway. JK Roller Associates has been named architect on the overall, multifaceted expansion project, and financing is being provided by AMC Delancey Group, Inc.

Construction on T.G.I. Fridayâs commenced in early March, and the anticipated opening date for the restaurant is July 2005. The architect on the T.G.I. Fridayâs project is GHA Architecture/Development, of Dallas, Texas, who has hired RE Crawford Construction, of Springdale, Pennsylvania, as general contractor. The final land development approvals for the new theater were also attained in March and construction is set to commence in late April.

ãItâs an exciting time at our Gettysburg Village Factory Stores, as construction on our T.G.I. Fridayâs continues to move along right on schedule,ä said Nancy Brown, General Manager of the Gettysburg Village Factory Stores. ãItâs fitting that as our center undergoes a multimillion dollar expansion that weâre adding a T.G.I. Fridayâs restaurant, a company who has recently launched a $160 million makeover across its portfolio to reinvent itself after being in the business for 40 years. Weâre constantly conducting research to bring the most up-to-date, sought-after retailers and amenities to our centers, and we are pleased to be able to offer visitors of Gettysburg a fun and enjoyable restaurant experience at T.G.I. Fridayâs.ä
