Gettysburg Village Set to Open Four New Stores in Time for the Holidays
Maurices, UPS, Gertrude Hawk and Hickory Farms Enhance Retail Mix This November

GETTYSBURG, PA, NOVEMBER 14, 2005—Gettysburg Village has announced that four new stores will open in early November, just in time for the holiday rush. Maurices Clothing Store, known for providing classic and trendy fashion to women with a twenty-something attitude, will open in a 3,500-square-foot space.

“Maurices adds even more variety to the juggernaut of stores already at the Village that serve the youthful market,” said Nancy Brown, general manager of Gettysburg Village Factory Stores.

Joining Maurices is the UPS Store, the world’s largest network of retail shipping, postal and business service centers, with 3,000 square feet, and Gertrude Hawk, a specialty chocolate shop dedicated to delivering delicious chocolates with the freshest ingredients, with a 1,200-square-foot store. In addition, Hickory Farms will be joining the village for the holiday season in a 1,200-square-foot store.

“We are delighted that these four leading national retailers have chosen Gettysburg Village to open their newest locations,” Brown said. “The addition of these shops adds to the variety Gettysburg Village offers our customers and enhances our center brand – Relax, Have Fun and Enjoy Shopping.”
