— AMC Delancey Group, Inc., a Philadelphia-based national real estate investment company and owner of Gettysburg Village, set out on a “Mission Impossible” in early 2005 to reposition its already well performing Gettysburg Village center into an even hotter shopping destination with more food options, entertainment and top retailers. Less than one year later, AMC Delancey is calling its repositioning a “Mission Possible,” as it celebrates the opening of six new stores, a T.G.I. Friday’s restaurant and now the highly anticipated 10-screen movie theatre by Frank Theatres. Frank Theatres, which is celebrating 85 years in the motion picture industry, is set to open the five-star, state-of-the-art Gettysburg Village Stadium Cinema to the public on Thursday, May 4 at 10 p.m., just in time for the first showing of “Mission Impossible 3” starring Tom Cruise.

The new Gettysburg Village Stadium Cinema offers 10 stadium auditoriums with curved movie screens, pulse-racing Dolby digital surround sound, and 2,000 stadium seats that feature high-back rockers, flip-up cup holders, armrests, chairs with 18-inch risers for an unobstructed view and handicap seating and hearing impaired listening devices. Additional features include large, fast-service concession stands with a variety of food and beverage options, including unsalted popcorn; a guest service counter to provide guests with the best possible hospitality and service; quality meeting spaces are available to accommodate birthday parties and corporate events; as well as a separate arcade packed full of the latest games to entertain kids and adults alike.
