PHILADELPHIA (JULY 24, 2006)
– AMC Delancey Group, Inc., a Philadelphia-based national real estate investment company, announced it has completed two lease agreements at The Cast Iron Building, 718 Arch Street, Philadelphia. A 2,436 square-foot lease transaction was completed for Pennsylvania Institutional Law Project, and a 2,660 square-foot lease transaction was completed for the law firm of Kairys, Rudovsky, Messing & Feinberg.

“We were able to quickly secure the Pennsylvania Institutional Law Project lease due to The Cast Iron Building’s stature as one of ‘the’ places from which to conduct business in Philadelphia,” said Tom Kramer of Jackson Cross Partners, LLC, AMC Delancey’s new broker for the building. “Expanding our relationship with AMC Delancey to work on The Cast Iron Building, a 105,000 square-foot historic building, is exciting, as Jackson Cross Partners will work with one of Philadelphia’s most highly respected companies, leasing one of Philadelphia’s architectural landmarks.”

Paul Messing, partner at Kairys, Rudovsky, Messing & Feinberg, added, “One of the main reasons we chose to relocate to The Cast Iron Building was AMC Delancey’s on-site management and overall management team professionalism. We know the company will be an outstanding landlord who will always meet our needs and concerns. In fact, we have been enormously pleased with the build out of our new offices and our relationship with building management.”

Matthew J. Kelly, asset manager of AMC Delancey Group, whose headquarters are also in The Cast Iron Building, concluded, “AMC Delancey bought The Cast Iron Building in 1996, at a time when many were concerned about the future of the downtown Philadelphia market. Now business in Philadelphia is thriving and commercial real estate leases are in high demand. We are very happy that we seized the opportunity to be part of this competitive market and The Cast Iron Building will continue to be an important part of the Philadelphia business community.”

The Cast Iron Building features its original cast iron façade, convenient access from all major highways, on-site ownership and property management, convenient parking, and a full-time lobby attendant/day porter. In addition, the building is serviced by a water-sourced heat pump system that gives each tenant the ability to individually control their suite’s cooling and heating. The building will have 16,000 rentable square feet of space, in a number of suites, becoming available in the coming months. For more information or to arrange a tour, contact Thomas D. Kramer at 215-564-2720, ext. 300.
