Kathleen Doherty Appointed General Manager of the Radisson Hotel Largo-Washington, D.C.

LARGO, MD (NOVEMBER 9, 2006) – AMC Delancey Group, Inc., a Philadelphia-based national real estate investment company, and its operating partner, Fairfield, N.J.-based Paramount Hotel Group, announced the appointment of Kathleen “Katie” Doherty as general manager of the Radisson Hotel Largo–Washington, D.C. In her new role, Doherty will be responsible for implementing efficiency in operations, accounting, cash management, sales and marketing initiaitives, and the overall success and profitability of the hotel, restaurant and banquet facilities.

“With over 20 years experience in the hotel industry and a proven track record of successfully managing similar size hotels, Katie will be a vital player to the success of the Radisson Hotel Largo–Washington, D.C.,” stated Peter Marino, senior vice president of the Paramount Hotel Group. “In her short time at the hotel, she has already brought a positive message of leadership and has undertaken many tasks that will ensure the long-term success of the property.”

Prior to becoming general manager at the Radisson Hotel Largo–Washington D.C., Doherty was general manager at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. Her previous experience included positions with the Holiday Inn–Downtown in Williamsburg, Va.; Shell Island–All Oceanfront Suites in Wrightsville Beach, N.C.; Atlantic Sands Hotel in Rehoboth Beach, Del.; Breakers Hotel & Suites in Rehoboth Beach, Del.; and the Ramada Hotel–BWI Airport in Hanover, Md.

Doherty, a native of Washington D.C., attended Montgomery College where she studied management and accounting. Her professional affiliations include vice president of Pinellas County Restaurant and Lodging Association, board member of the Florida State Restaurant and Lodging Association, member of the American Hotel and Lodging Association and member of the Clearwater Regional Chamber of Commerce.
