January 22, 2008 (Palmyra, PA) -Traditions of Hershey, an independent living community located in Palmyra, Pa. announced their official opening today at a ribbon cutting ceremony presided over by Lieutenant Governor Catherine Baker Knoll. The ceremony took place today from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m., and included a proclamation which was read by the Lieutenant Governor. The event concluded with a private reception for local officials.

Traditions of Hershey will <<MORE>> not only serve as an independent living community for our residents, but we will also serve the community as a venue for special events and meetings, as well as a resource and educational center for area seniors,” said Lisa Allen, Executive Director of Traditions of Hershey.

Traditions of Hershey, located at 100 Larkspur Drive, Palmyra, Pa., is a unique retirement community which provides independent living with no up front fees; each apartment can be leased on a month to month basis. It provides 120 studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartment options, as well as beautifully appointed commons areas.
